About CoAK

けんちくセンターCoAKは、建築に関する知識をキュレーションし、広めるための専門的なプラットフォームです。展覧会、ワークショップなど、建築や都市に関するイベントを開催するほか、建築ツアーやコミュニティ参加型プログラムなどの活動を行っています。こうした取り組みを通じて、京都の建築文化と現代的な実践に対する一般の人々の理解を深め、対話を促進するためのハブとしての役割を果たしたいと考えています。

Centre for Co-Architecture Kyoto is a specialized platform for curating and disseminating knowledge about architecture. In addition to organizing exhibitions, workshops, and other events related to architecture and urbanism, it also offers architectural tours and community-based programs. Through these initiatives, CoAK aims to deepen public understanding of Kyoto's architectural culture and contemporary practices, serving as a hub for dialogue and engagement.

建築案内 / Guide

京都を中心に建築ツアーの実施や、建築巡りのコーディネーションを行います。京都の建築関係者とのネットワークを活かした特別な建築体験や訪問先の提案を行います。
We organize architectural tours primarily in Kyoto and coordinate customized architectural visits. Leveraging our network of local professionals, we offer unique architectural experiences and propose special destinations for visits.

建築相談 / Aid

家づくりやリノベーションに関する情報提供、建築家や工務店の紹介から、DIYやセルフビルドのための技術提供、道具貸し出しなどを行い、自分らしい空間づくりを支援します。

We support people in creating personalized spaces by providing information on home building and renovation, introducing architects and builders, offering technical guidance for DIY and self-build projects, and lending tools and equipment.

交流・発信 / Event

建築や都市、まちづくりに関する情報発信と、関心のある人々による交流のための機会を提供します。新しい建築的アイデアを紹介する展覧会や出版イベント、まちのことを学ぶワークショップなどを開催します。

We provide information on architecture, cities, and community development, while creating opportunities for people with shared interests to connect. Our activities include exhibitions and publishing events that introduce new architectural ideas, as well as workshops for learning about the city.
